Miombo

The “Miombo” occupies more than half of the Angolan territory and is the country's main (and most threatened) Biome, whose impacts of its progressive devastation will extend throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, especially in its southern part (Southern Africa), not only in the short term with the reduction of the recharge capacity of the aquifers located on the plateaus, but above all with the inevitable changes in rainfall regimes and the inevitable socioeconomic impacts on food production (more dramatic in family farming) and the more rapid advance of desertification in transitions from Savanna.
